Yigit Akdemir

Having improved his knowledge of distilled spirits by traveling to over 100 distilleries in Scotland, Ireland, England, Europe, the USA and Mexico since 2011, Yiğit Akdemir received Diploma in Single Malt Whisky , Diploma in the Art of Tasting Whisky and Diploma in Gin training from the Edinburgh Whisky Academy in 2018, as his interest in the culture of spirits increased.

He completed the WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits training with Merit presented by the Grape Experience in San Francisco in 2020. He graduated from Springbank Whisky School in Campbeltown, Scotland in 2022. He completed his Certified Sake Professional (CSP) training the same year.

He completed the Master of Agave Spirits (L4) program, developed together with the Agave Spirit Institute and Universidad Anahuac Mexico, in May 2024. In addition to completing the Edinburgh Whisky Academy Advanced Diploma training in October 2024, Yiğit completed the Educator Training Program training at WSET London School in November and continues his Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS) training at the Society of Wine Educators.

Idil Tan

İdil Tan graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Food Engineering . Her interest in the alcoholic beverage industry began during her university years and she had the opportunity to experience wine production at Corvus Winery for a short time right after graduation. She continued her professional career at Türk Tuborg. While working as an Experiential Marketing Specialist at Tuborg, she completed three different beer trainings at the Beer&Cider Academy in England and successfully passed the Beer Sommelier interview of the same academy, becoming the first female Beer Sommelier in Turkey. In 2022, she passed the Cicerone certification program exam, which measures professional beer knowledge in the service and storage conditions, beer styles, beer flavors and evaluation criteria, raw materials and production processes, and beer food pairings for beer industry professionals, and became one of three people in our country with the Certified Cicerone title. In October 2023, she completed the Certificate in Practical Brewing training given by Brewlab at its center in Sunderland. Having completed the first Level 2 Award in Beer training in WSET’s history in April 2024 with a perfect score of 100, İdil has been working as Uzkeba’s Beer Education Manager and the trainer of the original beer training programs Beer Lessons and What is This Beer? since the beginning of 2023. As of 2024, İdil became the first trainer in Turkey to be qualified to provide the Certified Beer Server preparation training of the Cicerone certification program. In February 2025, she completed the Wine & Spirits Education Trust’s Beer Educator Program in Hong Kong and became a WSET Certified Beer Educator.
